Its a question that is asked over and over again. What is 666?. 666 is often seen in hollywood movies but who or what is 666?. Many people think that the 666 is linked to the Devil somehow but they are not sure of the connection. Many movies have the 666 appearing on people. this page trys to in the simplest way answer all questions related to the 666 and how it relates to end times prophecy.
Question 1 : What is 666?:
Answer : 666 is the mark of the beast.
Question 2: What is 666 and what is the mark of the beast?
Answer : 666 or the mark of the beast is a mark or seal that will be given in the final days of bible prophecy/ end times prophecy to identify those that have chosen to worship the beast
Question 3: What is the beast?
Answer : The beast is the papacy
Question 4: Where did the beast come from?
Answer : The beast Is not a real beast. Its symbolic for the papacy that will gain power in the last days in fulfilment of end times prophecy.
Question 5: How will the beast gain power in the end times of bible prophecy?
Answer: The beast will initially get its power from Satan. Revelation 13 vs 2 says The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. Revelation 13 vs 3-8 says "The whole earth was amazed and followed the beast. They worshiped the dragon because he gave authority to the beast. And they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to wage war against him?"A mouth was given to him to speak boasts and blasphemies. He was also given authority to act for 42 months. He began to speak [blasphemies against God: to blaspheme His name and His dwelling—those who dwell in heaven. And he was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them. He was also given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation. All those who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name was not written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who was slaughtered.
Question 6: Is having the 666 mark of the beast a good thing?:
Answer :No because having the 666 mark of the beast will ultimately mean eternal death and also during the end days, those with the 666 mark of the beast will suffer plagues. Revelation 14:9-10
says And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
Question 7: Why will some people choose to have the 666 mark of the beast or worship the beast?
Answer : Some may choose the 666 mark of the beast simply because they do not want to follow Gods law. Others will follow because they fear they will be killed or be prevented from buying or selling goods if they do not worship the beast Revelation 13:15-17 says The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
Question 8: Can you see the 666 mark of the beast on a person? will the 666 mark be a microchip or a barcode ?.
Answer : No the 666 mark is symbolic for what you stand for, what you think and what you do.
Question 9: Is the 666 mark of the beast linked to secret societies as some people say?.
Answer : No. though many people incorrectly believe it is, the 666 mark of the beast is linked ultimately to those who choose to follow the Antichrist.
Question 10: How can I avoid getting the 666 mark of the beast?.
Answer :
1: In the final days of end times prophecy, many will be decieved by people claiming to be Christ and they will fool people into doing their will thus gaining the 666, Matthew 24:24 says For false Christs and false prophets will arise and will show great signs and wonders, so as to mislead, if possible, even the elect. So in order to prevent getting the 666 mark of the beast, we need to be vigilant of such things
2: Be not afraid about following Gods law not the beasts law. Many people who resist the 666 mark of the beast will be put to death or tortured but the good news is that even if you lose your life rather than follow the beast, you will have eternal life in the heavenly kingdom. You will recieve the mark of God.
3: By keeping Gods Sabbath as written in his ten commandments
Question 11: Can I choose not to follow neither God or the beast?
Answer : No In the final days of end times prophecy you will either follow God or the beast and get his mark the 666. This is the battle between good and evil we will ALL have to choose our sides.
Question 12: Does God have his own sign or Mark?
Answer : Yes Gods sign is the biblical Sabbath. Exodus 31:12-17 says And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the LORD that doth sanctify you. Also Ezekiel 20:12 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.
